Norah's Redneck Adventure

Daddy is updating the blog now even though no one will probably read it.  We have had a few country adventures over the past few weeks.  It all started when we decided to go and pick our pumpkin from the patch.  If you have ever done this then you understand why it is easier to buy it from Kroger.  It was 100 degrees, 100 miles away, with 100 thousand bugs, and the pumpkin which I had to carry 100 yards weighed 100 hundred pounds.  At least it only cost $15.
Then we visited mimi (Brookes mom) where Norah always gets to see the horses and dogs.  The child is foolish about dogs.  She pets them, screams, and then runs away and smiles and repeats this until we drag her back inside.  She also attended her first field trial.  Maybe next time she can run her own dog.
Next we visited the GA national mullet fair where Norah had her first corn dog, roasted corn, turkey leg, and gigantic 3000 calorie cinnamon roll.  She was too small so the carnies would not let her on the rickety rides.  I told her to make a wish that she was "big" on the Zoltar machine and we would come back the next day.  She either did not make the wish or the Zoltar machine was broken.  We also visited the cows and learned where her hamburgers come from.  Overall she enjoyed the food the most (so did her pregnant mommy).  We had a great time.
Brooke is about 35 weeks (give or take a week).  She is experiencing all of the full joys of pregancy currently and is now ready to have a preterm delivery although this might upset my mother who is in Africa.  She is doing fantastic with Norah.  I never knew she would be this great of a mother to our children.
I am about to begin vascular surgery (finally some work) after a relaxing yet informative rotation in nephrology.  The interviews for residency begin in a few weeks and so does the traveling, at least until January.
